Whether you already own a Ford Ranger, or you're considering buying one, you'll need to know what size the engine is. The bank needs to know so it can determine the loan value on the vehicle. You'll also need to know the engine size to get insurance coverage. Plus, you'll need the engine size to buy the proper parts for repairs.

Usually the number of spark plugs the Ford Ranger has will tell you how many cylinders the engine has. Some engines have dual plugs for each cylinder.
